Line of ivory elephants.

I didn't get all in the picture.  I believe there were eight or ten elephants, each smaller in size.

In the background, are three ivory perfume containers.

My father said that the ivory was discolored because they were buried for years in the

ground to hide them.  The minerals in the dirt reacted with the ivory to turn them brown.

These carved reindeer appear to be Onyx or Jade

These carved elephants (not in very good condition) are perhaps pink quartz?

They are placed in carved teak or mahagony stands.

I'm not sure about this one.  The carving is all one piece

and I think it might be Amber.  If not, it's carved from some

unknown mineral.  It's definitely not wooden.
