My father, Lt. Col. John J. Gardner (1914-1986) served as a Liaison Officer during World War II in the China, Burma, and India Theatre of Operations .  In the jungles of Burma, he served in the Northern Combat Area Command Headquarters of Lt. General Joseph Stilwell .  As a member of the Y-Forces, he served in the New 6th Army, Chinese Combat Command, with Maj. General Robert McClure. On this website, I have photos, stories, & memorabilia that Dad shared with me.
